
Apple & Cinnamon Porridge
Warm creamy porridge made with oats and water, topped with gently cooked apple and cinnamon.
Ingredients
- •50 g Rolled oats
- •250 ml Water
- •½ Apple, peeled and finely diced
- •¼ tbsp Caster sugar
- •½ tsp Ground cinnamon
- •½ tsp Vanilla extract

Method
- 1Place the oats and water into a saucepan.
- 2Bring gently to a simmer and cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring regularly, until creamy.
- 3Meanwhile, place the diced apple in a small pan with a splash of water and cook for 3–4 minutes until just softened.
- 4Stir the sugar and vanilla extract into the porridge.
- 5Spoon the porridge into a bowl and top with the warm apple.
- 6Finish with the cinnamon and serve immediately.
